![]() ![]() A petfood subscription had the cancel button in the delivery notice email, which I wouldn't see until after it shipped. One of those wine deliveries would only allow you to cancel by calling a live calltaker, who wouldn't take no for an answer without going through a script on why I should keep them. I did use Roman, and there was a 'pause delivery' button right on the settings page alongside shipping/billing info.īut I've bought from a few other subscription stores that make it nigh impossible to cancel. I didn't use Keeps so I don't know firsthand on how difficult stopping delivery was. I will say though that I can commiserate on the difficulty in cancelling, but that's about par for the course for so many subscription-model businesses. I won't comment on the side effects, but I guarantee you its real, generic finasteride and minoxidil. ![]() It's cheaper, easier, and infinitely less predatory. I'm sure these chemicals work well for some folks, but stay away from Keeps and get them over the counter when you can. And somehow, despite the overwhelmingly negative reviews, the site gives Keeps an overall star rating of 4.5. There are 28 reviews for Keeps products, 23 of which are negative to scathing, but even though you can select an out-of-five star rating when leaving a review, that rating isn't displayed on your review itself. There's a website called ConsumersAdvocate where you can leave a review, but they seem to be fairly dishonest, themselves. Keeps features glowing reviews on their website, but I can't find a way to leave a new review, so I have to assume these are curated. Whether or not their products works, their business model is despicable.įURTHER, I've found only one way to actually leave a review for the product itself. Those are predatory, willfully obtuse tactics to drain as much money from you as possible. Supposedly I can call to get that through faster, but they knowingly created those extra obstacles to make it harder to stop giving them money. Instead, I have to submit a generalized customer service request via their main site, which has no link to or from the page where I can add items to my plan. I can sign up for new and different things, but there's no function to simply stop my subscription. However, there is no way to straight-up cancel said plan on that page. ![]() ![]() On the email about said shipment, it showed me the cost and at the very bottom provided a link to adjust my plan. I forgot to cancel my subscription before the second shipment was made. The real problem is how their website functions. I don't know if someone with a more robust brain chemistry might see real success or not over a longer period of time, but if you struggle with depression, I don't recommend their finasteride pills. In that time I saw no significant change to my hair thickness. I stopped taking the pills and 5 days later (which my Keeps doctor told me was the average time for the medicine to leave the body) my mental health returned to normal. A month into the treatment, my mental health saw a sharp decline. I subscribed for a 90-day bottle of their finasteride every three months. My hair line is thinning and male-pattern-baldness runs in my family, so I wanted to try Keeps to see if I could prevent further loss.
